Twitter will notify you if an embedded tweet has been edited

Twitter

Twitter 'not-an-April-fools-joke' edit feature is now in public testing. But in the meantime, a study by researcher Jane Manchun Wong has caught everyone attention. This work now provides an idea of what an edited Tweet embedded on the web might look like.

Wong shows that if someone embeds a recently edited tweet, the text of the tweet will have a 'Last Edited' message below it. But if it tweet when it's embedded, it will appear as a new version of the previous tweet.

However, the edit feature is not yet officially launched. It can also change. However, Verge commented that this matter is very logical because if someone wants to, they can easily see the edited tweet.

Apple is also making the edit feature easier for users in their upcoming i-Messages, according to news outlet Verge. Edit history will be added to their iOS 16 beta version, the company said.
