US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi has arrived in Taiwan, ignoring Barbour's warning from China. The flight carrying him landed at Taipei Airport. At the same time, China closed the airspace over the Taiwan Strait and the east coast.

Beijing, which considers Taiwan part of its own, has warned of "fatal consequences" for the visit. China's Foreign Ministry spokesman said, "The United States is taking provocative actions, which may increase tensions across the Taiwan Strait." They must take full responsibility for it. Chinese warplanes have begun crossing the Taiwan Strait, British media BBC reported on Chinese state media. These aircraft are reported to be SU-35.

Meanwhile, US Speaker Nancy Pelosi gave a tweet after arriving in Taiwan. She said, through this visit, his delegation is paying respect to Taiwan's dynamic democracy and the steadfast commitment of the United States.
