Instagram will not be like TikTok

Instagram Will No Longer Look Like TikTok After Complaints From Many Users

Instagram is withdrawing from the decision to feature like TikTok. The company recently said that the decision was taken due to negative response from online users, influencers and celebrities. The new feature has enhanced video content like TikTok.

Users are criticizing the display and feed for reducing the number of images displayed. Meta says they need some time for this change. However, the company thought that increasing its video content would increase its popularity.

Meanwhile, according to the sources of digital analytics company Sensor Tower, the number of TikTok app downloads worldwide has exceeded three billion. It is the only app outside of Meta to cross this number. Adam Mosseri, head of the company, said that this experimental version of Instagram will be phased out in a few weeks.

Adam Mosseri previously posted a video explaining that full screen video will work better than photographs. But after the criticism, he said, he will be more focused on the film now.

A Meta spokesperson told the BBC: "We're suspending this test of full screen on Instagram for the time being so we can move on to other options, based on community feedback." For now we're reducing feed recommendations.

Later we realized that a combination of poisons is needed, he added. We believe that Instagram should be a partner in changing the world. We need to take time to get everything right.
