BCCI Announced India Squad for Asia Cup 2022




Indian experienced batsman Virat Kohli was out of the team due to off form. But, Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) has again included him in the team for the upcoming Asia Cup. Rohit Sharma has led the Indian team in the Asia Cup.

Monday (August 8) BCCI announced 15 member squad. Everyone is experienced in this team of full strength. Jasprit Bumrah is out of the team only due to injury. Young cricketers like Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh got a chance by showing surprise.

Despite the increase in age, the trust on Ravichandran Ashwin has not decreased. So he was kept in the team. Lokesh Rahul will serve as the vice-captain along with Rohit. Whoever Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik will handle the wicket keeper duties. 

Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda remain in the top order as usual. Ravindra Jadeja is in the finish line. There is also Hardik Pandya Yuzvendra Chahal. Shreyas Iyer, Axar Patel and Deepak Chahar have been kept in reserve.
