At CDL Champs, Infinity Ward also teased a new multiplayer map, called Grand Prix, that’s set on a racetrack. The map will be available to play during the beta.
Infinity Ward says that those who haven't pre-ordered the game will also be able to get a 'beta code' of the game, which will allow them to play the game from the start.
During the tournament on Sunday, some of the codes of the game have already been released by Infinity Ward. Also, if you keep an eye on the channels of various game-based streamers and YouTubers before the beta version starts, there is a chance to get these codes.
First glimpse of the Modern Warfare 2 game was seen back in June, but developer Infinity Ward will reveal more information about the upcoming game at its Call of Duty: Next event, including a full multiplayer reveal.
As reported by Verge, the event will take place on September 15th. Additionally, the game will launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC (via Battle.net and Steam) on October 28th.
